Winning strategy
I have often participated in a situation where investors wanted to establish an industrial facility. Time and again I was called to consult about energy.
Generally, people already had an idea of the location. A small minority was open to considering a holistic approach , including access to electricity.
In consideration, I always understood the interests in choosing a region that presents a good combination of tax costs, logistics, labor availability, among others.
When I was able to "give my opinion" I proposed an approach that proved to be very interesting and convenient. Discover in advance where there would be access to electrical energy (and even from other sources) at a competitive cost. Or even minimising the necessary investments.
Those who agreed to open the topic as I proposed, discovered solutions that saved many millions in CAPEX investments.
Bottom line: Choosing a location deserves the same care as with all other topics that are so important. The difference between doing so and the more traditional way can be huge.
