Wastewater to Hydrogen

Wastewater Fuels is developing modular and scalable technology for on-grid and off-grid applications that produce clean energy and water from wastewater.

Around the world >80% of all wastewaters are discharged without treatment, due to lack of investment and/or energy costs. Our technology encourages the circular economy, by placing a value on wastewater (as a feedstock for fuel production).

We will treat wastewater using only the energy it contains and provide excess energy (hydrogen or electricity) for other uses, all whilst saving carbon. Our technology consumes the pollutants in the wastewater, and doesn't split water (electrolysis), ensuring precious water is not consumed for energy.
