The value of simplicity
I learned in real life, providing energy consultancy to companies and institutions that achieving and maintaining important results involves simplicity.
1. Facilitates understanding
Managers, directors, board members, advisors and guys at the operations floor, aligning perceptions and expectations tend to act in a more synchronized way because they understand the strategies
2. Enables timelines
When a plan is created to implement the agreed strategy, the chances of success increase because everyone knows what is expected!
3. Establishes metrics
Nothing better than establishing - from the very beginning - how success will be measured! Thus there is a convergence, previously organized, so that everyone "speaks the same language".
It is worth quoting Oscar Wilde: "I'm a man of simple tastes. I'm always satisfied with the best"
