Opportunity: insurance against power interruptions

The importance and urgency attached to the upcoming Capacity Reserve Auction to be launched "soon" in Brazil send a significant signal.

The message is clear: the National Interconnected System (SIN) requires reinforcement—specifically, dispatchable power plants—to ensure that energy supply meets demand.

Will every company or institution connected to the SIN be "covered" by this official reinforcement?

There are three possibilities to consider:

1) Yes, we are covered—no action needed!

2) No, we need to protect ourselves.

3) A combination of the two.
