"Non-events"
Brazil especializes in holding "non-events".
Let me explain: actions that cause a lot of exposure but that in practice do not essentially change the status quo of our systemic poverty.
Months of "negotiations" for the approval of a new "framework" in relation to - for example - the spending ceiling generated/generates a positive "theatre".
That is, we allocate time and efforts to change formalism and benefit the status-quo.
What we need is a clean sweep of the abusive costs that the State has appropriated, either with very special conditions for its caste, with "secret" amendments, with a gigantic stock of unfinished projects (measured in USD Billion) - they generated costs but did not bring benefits -Â and the list goes on and on.
We need to change the focus. We need to face the challenges. Really educate our population (and not just formally with "continuing education").
Do what South Korea did.
