NEWS: Vistra solar, battery projects in MISO face supply chain delays

Vistra has asked FERC for a two-year interconnection extension for Illinois solar and battery projects due to supply chain delays in MISO. (Utility Dive)

  • The two projects, which total 833 MW of solar and battery storage, have been in development since at least 2022.

  • Now, as Vistra sees multi-year wait times to acquire key equipment, connecting those projects to the grid could take until mid-2030.
