The company will expand its Permian Basin Power Plant from 325 MW to 1,185 MW, adding two new natural gas units to support oil, gas, industrial, and data center growth in West Texas.
Vistra also signed a 20-year, 1,200 MW PPA for output from Comanche Peak Nuclear, with delivery beginning in 2027 and scaling to full capacity by 2032 under NRC licenses extended through 2053.
