EnergyHub is buying Resideo Grid Services, a merger that positions VPPs as a mainstream grid resource. (Latitude Media)

  • EnergyHub already runs VPP software for 120+ utilities. Resideo brings deep thermostat integration and innovative “edge DERMS” tech. 

  • The combined company now aims to manage 100 GW of fully dispatchable VPP capacity by 2035—a leap from today’s 3 GW—and claims VPPs are hitting the threshold where grid operators can’t tell them apart from peakers.
