DigitalBridge is buying ArcLight in a $1B deal.
The data center company will absorb power investor ArcLight’s 20.8 GW of generation. This ranks among the country’s biggest private power portfolios, and includes 7GW in PJM). ArcLight also has 15 GW of projects in the works.
The new power couple: The combined enterprises will be worth over $150B. By marrying data centers with the capacity to power them, DigitalBridge says it’s poised to become “a leading alternative asset manager at the convergence of power, AI, and digital infrastructure.”
