How to adjust energy contracting and use?
The way the energy market is structured, it is enough for the free consumer to contract the volume they need to consume per month and that's it!
It doesn't matter the consumption profile throughout the 24 hours of each day. It also doesn't matter how the energy supplier delivers the energy as the only parameter that counts is the total involved in MWh.
The result of this "uncoupling" is that the differences are absorbed by the National System Operator (ONS) as well as the associated costs, which are shared among all.
An evolution would be the requirement of parity in the supply and consumption profile. Supply and demand will tend to balance out at lower costs for everyone!
