EPC Consultant
EPC stands for engineering, procurement and construction. Designates a "structured" form of "package" contracting.
In the energy area, I saw and still see the great advantages of this model, which I had the opportunity to suggest and subsequently implement for industrial, commercial and institutional clients.
1) The customer contracts and pays for a solution as opposed to buying assets.
2) The solution is delivered by those who have experience and knowledge in the area.
3) The client can then focus on its "core-business", which is super valuable!
4) Usually the delivery time and price are much more interesting/convenient than the conventional format.
Classic examples of EPC (and an equally interesting variant the BOT build, operate and transfer):
* Substations that connect high voltage to medium voltage
* Distribution lines that connect the utility to the customer
* Emergency generator sets
* Co generation
* Steam generation
* Â Distributed generation
This alternative will be worth considering!
