Energy: Decision and Outcome

A key personality trait of anyone who chooses to make a decision is their commitment to the resulting outcome.

Whether it is an engineer working close to the operational front lines, a manager, or a director, anyone who proposes a course of action bears the responsibility of following it through until the desired result is achieved.

This may seem simple—even obvious.

In my experience, however, few people truly take this responsibility upon themselves. It is far easier to simply appear "obedient" while avoiding the burden of ensuring an actual outcome.

The difference lies in the "process" that must be followed: 1) Gathering information, 2) Conducting analysis, 3) Developing alternatives, and 4) Making a decision.

Those who aspire to reach and sustain a higher professional standard must follow this "structured" path—whether in the procurement of energy or in its efficient use.

I am at your disposal to assist you on this wonderful "adventure"!
