If you look up the last word in the title of this post in merriam-webster.com. it says: “Free-for-all, brawl.” Thus, you might assume that all donnybrooks are crude, but there are also multiple definitions for “crude.” The one I’m using in the title is a shortened version of “crude oil,” and the U.S. state governments are in a major donnybrook over this necessary (for now) energy-source. Go to section 2 of this post to see this brawl described. The referee in this case was the high-court of our land, and the free-for-all probably isn’t over.
