Constrained off
The Brazilian National System Operator is sharing its overview of the new processes and criteria for determining and paying operating restrictions due to constrained-off of photovoltaic solar generating plants (UFV),
In simple words, it is about identifying what happens when UFV cannot be dispatched due to restrictions in the electrical energy transmission and distribution systems and who will pay for it.
The answer here in Brazil is simple and easy: the associated costs with this phenomenon is passed on to all consumers.
In other words, instead of those who generate photovoltaic solar energy bearing this cost, the tendency is "sharing" it with everyone, even if they did not want or participate in this decision.
