Brazil: Less rain in 2025... so what?

Brazil: Less rain in 2025... so what?

The prevailing opinion among meteorologists points to a year of below-average rainfall in the basins that feed the country's main hydroelectric plants - especially those in the southeast region.

In this scenario, there will be stress on the stored volume, causing the national system operator to dispatch much more expensive thermal power plants.

The result is an increase in electricity prices. In the short term and potentially even in the long term as well.

The important message I want to share is the interest and convenience of preparing - in advance - so that if this forecast is confirmed, companies and institutions will have the tools at hand to deal efficiently with this challenge.

I am available to help creating a competitive strategy to be implemented ASAP to offer a quality response!
