Located near Waynesboro, Georga, Plant Vogtle is home to four nuclear reactors with a total generating capacity of 4,664 megawatts (MW). The plant is expected to generate carbon-free electricity for the next 60-80 years. Plant Vogtle is operated by Southern Nuclear and jointly owned by Georgia Power Company (45.7%), Oglethorpe Power Corporation (30%), Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (22.7%) and Dalton Utilities (1.6%).
