What is the winning attitude?
Having provided energy consultancy for decades to a wide range of companies and institutions, I have sought to discover what makes the difference in results.
A list of conditions can and should be considered BUT there is one that "wins" by far: the attitude of the upper managers involved.
There are two very common and very antagonistic attitudes.
That of those who are not interested in the subject and this attitude permeates all levels "down".
That of leaders who always seek to achieve and maintain levels of competitiveness. And these, typically, ask questions to the consultant. Like a CEO of a large industrial group who suggested that I show the rabbit in my hat because he was interested in reducing operational costs, including energy.
So the big question is: what is the profile of the client's leadership?
