The regulations approved by ANEEL will make it possible to access important info that will - potentially - protect the financial health of the energy trading segment, which will bring confidence to this business environment and, consequently, better decisions.
Initially there will be a testing period ("shadow period") that should last 1 year and then it will be implemented "for real".
The great advantage will be the possibility of identifying the economic health of market agents and their exposure to the risks of financial leverage.
This way, everyone involved in energy purchases and sales will be able to make safer choices.
