Energy: what are the best solutions?

Energy: what are the best solutions?

Our cultural profile in Brazil, always points to the need to choose the alternative that offers the lowest final cost.

If the study is focusing on a melting furnace, for example, electricity and gas alternatives are evaluated. The one that "delivers" the best result is chosen.

My experience advising companies and institutions shows that the best solution is one that considers price variations - in the case of the example above - for gas and electricity.

This is because each of these prices has a "life of its own" and over time it is not realistically possible to always reach the lowest cost.

My recommendation is to go for "cost arbitration"... creating solutions that allow using current prices to obtain the best result from month to month.
