I have been providing consulting services for decades. And...it is amazing!

The challenge is enormous because the natural tendency would be to focus on engineering details, sizing solutions, and convincing technicians on the operations floor about the solutions that could be explored.

But, according to my experience, special results occur in another way. Starting "at the top". Talking to upper managers and even board members to first understand the "whole picture" and then looking at the alternatives that could be considered.

After aligning perceptions and expectations, the technical part begins. And what can be achieved with this approach is spectacular. And most importantly, it encourages true teamwork by considering the various hierarchical levels involved.
