Cooper Power Systems and CGI Announce Partnership to Deliver Smart Grid Projects

The two companies have a history of working together having deployed an Advanced Distribution Management System for Hydro Quebec.

Smart Grid advanced distribution management systems integrate distributed monitoring and intelligence over different types of communications networks to proactively monitor, alarm and automate the electrical grid. This application of monitoring, communications, intelligence and action into integrated solutions from transmission to consumption improves reliability, productivity (cost) and efficiency.
