Utilities are struggling to perform a balancing act today: managing a maturing workforce while filling the need for different positions and new job skills. Hiring new talent is critical to the success of projects such as new generation methods, the Smart Grid, and a host of other requirements that simply didn't exist a decade ago. Equally risky is leaving gaps within the organization due to poor succession planning.
