Phillip, no wonder Southern California Gas, the division of Sempra International, Inc. which makes $billions each year on the sale of fossil-fuel methane, is pushing hydrogen as a storage medium for solar and wind power. 95% of commercial hydrogen is made from methane, with frightful carbon emissions a result of manufacture.

Think of the profits, were SoCal Gas able to convince a gullible public that a cavern full of fossil-fuel-based hydrogen was filled using solar panels!
