In the real life of companies and statutory directors, they also have to decide on matters with which they are not familiarized.

Electricity is - usually - one of these matters.

How does a consultant (like me) help these directors make well educated decisions? It is about showing what it is about, with simple language, without jargon and especially, turning a complex theme into something understandable.

I often like to show alternatives so that it's easier for the director to find out which one fits his profile best. It's like a vice president of a large company said: please prepare a presentation for our board of directors using language for  8-year-old guys!

I love it-- I've also heard it that if you can't explain how a particular technology (especially digital solutions) works to your grandmother (or someone of comparable age), then you yourself don't understand it well enough!
