In the past, when utilities needed to deliver more power through existing ROW's, lines were typically removed and replaced with larger and more expensive structures and wire. With the advent of high-capacity, low-sag conductors such as ACCC, this process has become much less arduous, faster and less expensive. So far over 650 transmission lines have been upgraded with ACCC conductor in 50 countries.
