The Netherlands Confronts a Carbon Dilemma: Sequester or Recycle?
I wrote about taking a second look at carbon sequestration technology earlier this week. Most of the material I researched argued for the technology. Here's a contrary perspective. The opposition to carbon sequestration in Netherlands is mostly due to the expense and efficiency reduction in power plants as a result of the technology. These are not new arguments (I mentioned them in my piece). But it will be interesting to see how Netherlands, a country well-known for its environmental creds, approaches the problem from a policy perspective.
