The Intelligent Utility Group is getting a name change

The Intelligent Utility Group is getting a new name:

To help distriguish Community Groups from Networks, on Energy Central, we are re-naming the Intelligenty Utility group to "The Digital Utility Group".

The mission of this group is still the same: To to bring together utility professionals in the power industry who are in the thick of the digital utility transformation.

A little background on The Energy Central Power Industry Network’s structure:

  • Networks: Our content and community platform is now organized around 6 major segments (our Networks –Utility BusinessGenerationGridEnergy ManagementIntelligent Utility and Energy & Sustainability).  Each Network contains community groups and channels.  A user can subscribe to a network to receive highlights from the corresponding groups and channels.
  • Community Groups:  Our community groups are where the interaction happens.  A user can join a community and participate through Q&A, by posting their insights, commenting on other’s posts or by just simply reading the great content posted by their peers.
  • Channels: Coming soon – We will be adding channels within some of our networks, showcasing specific industry blogs that you may find useful and informative.

We appreciate all your contributions over the years and we look forward to many more.  As always, if you have any feedback or questions please do not hesitate to contact me or reach out to us through our email address.

The Energy Central Power Industry Network is based on one core idea - power industry professionals helping each other and advancing the industry by sharing and learning from each other.

If you have an experience or insight to share or have learned something from a conference or seminar, your peers and colleagues on Energy Central want to hear about it. It's also easy to share a link to an article you've liked or an industry resource that you think would be helpful.
