Looks like Connecticut is getting ready to make a significant stand in favor of renewable energy. The state's top energy official said the state may disconnect from the regional power grid because of its reliance on fossil fuels, namely natural gas. How would something like this impact the efficiency or sustainability of a regional grid if an entire state of energy customers leaves at once? Is there a precedent?
