Under Trump's Nose, Wyoming Wind Energy Set To Explode
A red state, with plentiful coal production and one of the smallest populations in the country is also fast becoming a wind generation center for the western United States. Wyoming has the right topography for wind and though their population may not need all the capacity generated locally, higher population cities and states in the west including California and Nevada will likely be the beneficiaries of the excess power. How long will it take for the transmission lines to be built to transport the energy further west?
