In his latest book, Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Rhodes treats the reader to extended treatment of how the pursuit of energy shaped society and how society's needs likewise shaped what energy technology was development.
More importantly, though, Rhodes shares story after story of the history of energy that, whether he intended to do it or not, echo many of the conversations that are happening (or should be happening) in the energy industry today.
