March 4 is Deadline for PLMA Awards - Seeking Best Demand Response and Load Management Initiatives of 2018

Approved to Use

The PLMA Award Program recognizes energy industry leaders who create innovative methods to meet peak load needs, mitigate price risks, and manage variable generation. Over the past 15 years, PLMA has presented over 70 awards to recipients who have included utilities, product and service providers, consumers, and individuals responsible for demand response efforts targeted to the residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customer markets.

Nominations are sought for the following award categories:

  • Program Pacesetter - Recognizes outstanding programs that effectively support and deliver peak load management.
  • Technology Pioneer - Recognizes innovative applications of technology with demonstrated potential to scale.
  • Thought Leader - Recognizes the impact projects, outreach campaigns and individual contributions that have the potential to shape the industry’s future.

PLMA members and non-members alike are encouraged to submit nominations for initiatives during calendar year 2018. Self-nominations are appropriate. One or more awards may be presented in each category to Utilities, Regulators, ISO/RTO, Aggregators, Marketers, Consumers, Solutions Providers, Manufacturers, Individuals, Organizations, or Projects.
