Smart Lighting Platform: The Gateway to a Smarter City

free

A smart lighting network is the gateway to a smarter city. The platform provides  real-time insights to achieve greater control. it helps  to conserve energy, manage assets and reduce maintenance costs . The platform also helps in enhancing safety and maximizing revenue. The application helps in changing the brightness of the bulbs. If the bulbs have coloured LEDs, the platform provides capabilities to change the colours too. Light recipes such as  watching movies, another for dinnertime, and yet another for reading are provided as options in the application. Switching from one recipe to another is will be possible using voice-activated personal assistant.

Smart lighting  uses mesh networking, where each smart bulb wirelessly connects to the nearest neighbour. This network is controlled by a hub that plugs into your router. It enables  other networked devices. The networked devices can be a phone, tablet and  bulbs. These systems enable the user to control the lights when the user is far away. Smart lightiing platform helps in saving energy and managing energy across your network.
