The number of US homes that are all electric reached 25% to US Energy Informaiton Administration’s Residential Energy Consumption Survey. This approach has gained share in each census region particularly in the Midwest and South, over the last decade. Changes to the types of equipment used in homes and faster population growth in warmer climates contributed to the rise. Do the findings surprise you? Why or why not?
