Maybe the Future of the Power Industry is with Plasma Jet Magneto Inertial Fusion (PJMIF)??

LENR stands for Low Energy Nuclear Reactions, (or sometimes Lattice Enabled Nanoscale Reactions) and refers to the phenomenon where anomalous amounts of heat are created when certain metals (e.g. nickel, palladium) absorb hydrogen or deuterium and an external stimulus such as heat or an electric current is applied.

Andrea Rossi stated that LENR is not Fusion. It has not been a waste of time as it has employed many people however it has never come close to producing a commercial product that is useful.

Maybe Doug Witherspoon, CEO & Chief Scientist, HyperJet Fusion Corporation?  He studies pulsed fusion, known as plasma jet magneto inertial fusion (PJMIF). ... The liquid lined walls of the reactor chamber absorb this energy, which is the kinetic energy of the fusion neutrons.
