Chicago-based Lincoln Clean Energysupply on Jan. 11 announced it had arranged financing for the 300-MW, Tahoka Wind project in Lynn County, Texas. GE Renewable Energy is to 120, 2.5-127 wind turbines for the project.
Morgan Stanley will provide construction and term financing for the wind farm, while Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary BHE Renewables will be a tax equity investor, according to a news release.
The Lynn County, Texas wind farm brings to 813-MW the combined, total capacity of wind and solar power projects Lincoln Clean Energy has in operation or under construction. The rensewable energy project developer is part of New York-based I Squared Capital.
