Early stage funding

I noticed recently a post for information on finding early stage funding.  I am very interested in this area also.  I have developed a revolutionary new form of renewable energy.  This power source is available 24/7 and can be located anywhere in the world.  This new technology has the potential of replacing the current fossil fuel based energy system.  We have already demonstrated proof of concept and scaling tests and are currently building a pilot system to grow to utility sized plants.  The process was evaluated by a world-renowned thermal engineer with very positive finding in the technology and its ability to scale to utility size systems to met energy needs of the future.  Funding the first large scale pilot project has been a slow road.  This pilot project is a necessary step before we build utility sized power generation systems.  Given the impact this technology will have on climate change and energy justice, it has been disappointing to have such a lack luster response.  If anyone has some advice in the best way to fund such a project, I would be happy to listen.
