In an effort to improve overall grid performance, reduce energy costs and support New York's ambitious clean energy goals, Governor Cuomo announced $5 million in funding for renewable energy projects.  Funding is available for entrepreneurs, clean energy companies and researchers.  New York has already invested $2.9 billion into 46 large-scale renewable projects.  We'll have to wait and see what promising proposals they’ll receive to modernize the grid and reach their clean energy goals.
