Are you ready to take your clean energy startup to the next level?

The 76West competition is now in its fourth year. Leading clean energy startups are encouraged to apply to this premier competition in the Southern Tier Region of New York State, where the 6 most promising businesses are granted significant prize money and afforded critical business and technical resources. The first year’s winners are in active funding discussions and have already raised more than $20 million in capital.

We invite you to encourage your portfolio companies to take advantage of this catalytic by applying to this year’s competition. Individual awards range from $250,000 to $1 million, in addition to tax incentives and training and mentoring support. If you encounter a business that does not meet your investment criteria but is working on a clean energy innovation, you may directly refer them to our program (https://www.nyserda.ny.gov/76West). Applications will be accepted until April 15, 2019.

New York State is the ideal ecosystem for the burgeoning clean energy industry, bolstering companies through favorable policy, partneships, access to capital, and one of the largest clean energy workforces in the nation. From competition to commercialization, 76West is the principal platform to launch clean energy startups in to success.

Thanks for sharing, Diane. Clean energy startups that are taking some moonshots are so exciting, and only a handful are needed to take hold to really disrupt the market. It's exciting that some of those disrupters might come from the 76West competition!
