PG&E gets some rare reasonably good publicity. The beleaguered utility needs its PR team to aggressively stay on the offensive to promote its proactive measures to prevent wildfires.

PG&E Makes Thousands of Repairs After Inspections

California utility PG&E said it is working to fix nearly 10,000 problems it discovered throughout its electrical system as it steps up efforts to prevent its equipment from sparking more wildfires.

Interesting framing, Andy-- indeed they could use all the positive goodwill they can get, but is PG&E's issue PR or is it actually rooted in real problems that need to be addressed so as to not earn the bad PR? Likely a mix of the two, and no doubt their media & comms teams are earning every dollar they get these days in an effort to build back trust
