A couple coal plants in Orlando may be shuttered, depending on results from proposed studies by the Orlando Utilities Commission. Environmentalists support the shuttering, but officials noted that coal plants can't be taken offline in the flick of a switch and that the transition to cleaner forms of energy may take a while. This, of course, is part of an ongoing trend and an issue utility PR teams will need to manage for customers.
