TruMarx Data Partners has announced the release of COMET 2.3. COMET™ (Community of Energy Transactors) is the energy industry’s first web-based execution platform that allows power and natural gas market participants to create an individual private market for each of their bilateral OTC transactions. The new release contains a host of process-efficiency enhancements to improve the user experience and make transacting on the COMET platform even more efficient. “Release 2.3 will add such features as draft messages, enhanced deal management, improved directory controls to allow greater counterparty involvement, customization of field output, and enhanced system notification content,” said Trumarx Chief Technology Officer, Greg Radcliff. “In addition, COMET will now offer an easy-to-use fee calculator to calculate COMET transaction fees based on the user’s position and allocation of fees with counterparties.
