SAIC Discusses Current Smart Grid Issues

When implementing smart grid technology, many types of information technology systems come into play. From advanced metering infrastructure to customer information systems, to geographical information systems and master data management – integrating these systems into new smart grid technology can be a major undertaking for utilities. Operations Manager Mark Fronmuller contends that SAIC's new Smart Grid as a Service (SGS) provides affordable and flexible solutions for utilities' smart grid needs.
