Established in response to multi-million dollar pronuclear promotional campaigns by nuclear coprations and electric utilities to offset negative publicity resulting from the Thee Mile Island accidnet. Has produced television and radio segment to counter this pronuclear media blitz. Activities include continued monitoring of pronuclear media campaigns, production of additional response messages for broadcast and print media, expansion of links with alternative energy groups across the country, energy outreach media tours, and increased public education on vialbe energy alternatives.
