Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA)

GITA (formerly AM/FM International) is the only non-profit educational association in the world dedicated to the application of geospatial information and technology to meet the business objectives of infrastructure-based organizations. The technologies addressed by the association include Automated Mapping and Facilities Management (AM/FM), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Work Management Systems (WMS), Customer Information Systems (CIS), and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs). GITA offers educational services to utilities, oil and gas companies, telecommunications companies, and government agencies.
