As more states “open their doors” to competition and are driven by growth in existing markets, MxEnergy needed a billing and customer care solution that would significantly streamline its billing process while allowing the flexibility to offer the creative programs that have been at the core of their current success. MxEnergy competes in multiple jurisdictions and calls upon the services of a number of local distribution companies who provide gas transmission services, system maintenance and bill production. The company’s focus was to find a CIS solution that would facilitate interaction with its customers and the local distribution companies.
