Jim retired from Southern California Edison with nearly 40 years of experience, where he was most recently Manager, Enterprise Architecture. Jim is an IT professional with extensive experience as a manager, project manager and individual contributor as an architect in the development and implementation of large-scale information systems including business intelligence, GIS, work, asset and operations management. Expert knowledge of system development, engineering, and architecture processes. Incorporation of leading-edge information technology in to strategic initiatives including facilitating re-engineering of business processes and architectures, achieving productivity improvements, and reducing operating expenses.
Jim has provided and continues to provide tremendous support for the Utility Analytics Institute in a variety of ways. Currently he is an independent consultant working with utilities and solution providers in the areas of SmartGrid, analytics and integration.
