“As utilities continue to evaluate communications standards, some have considered the enhancements recently achieved by cellular technology, such as data speed or latency standards,” says Russ Henderson, research analyst for Chartwell Inc. “Opting for a hybrid approach is another consideration for some utilities.” The report also notes that:
