The South Meager project in British Columbia is the most advanced geothermal project in Canada; and the only geothermal lease in Canada for the production of electricity. The geological setting is comparable to the successful Coso field (270 Megawatts) in California operated by Caithness LLC. With an ideal location in close proximity to Whistler, site of the 2010 Winter Olympics, it is at the final stage of evaluation for commercial production of electricity.
