Biogas production from organic waste decomposition under anaerobic conditions has been a growing market for many years. The economic drivers have not been felt in the US market like it is in Europe and other countries where the Kyoto Protocol has been accepted as a practice. What has not been fully appreciated in the US in particular has been the benefits of usage of this biogas for energy generation and the associated sustainability benefits.
