URS Corporation (NYSE: URS) today announced that it has been awarded a contract by Hoosier Energy Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. to provide engineering, procurement, and construction services to upgrade existing flue gas desulfurization systems at Hoosier Energy's Merom Generating Station in Indiana. The upgrade is scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2013. The contract has a value of $113 million to URS.
